There is huge excitement in the air, Real Madrid fans and Chelsea star defender Toni Rudiger are thrilled as the German joins the Champions League winners on a free transfer.

Chelsea confirmed in a statement on Thursday that the German defender have left the club to join Real Madrid, having played a key role in their recent success.

The agreement with Toni Rudiger has now become official, according to a Real Madrid announcement. The contract will be active through June 2026 and will include NO options.

The defender was a key player of the London club’s squad that won the Champions League, Europa League, Club World Cup, UEFA Super Cup, and FA Cup.

In the previous two seasons, he was named to the Champions League Team of the Season.
