Super Eagles forward, Ademola Lookman scored his 6th Premier League goal of the season as Leicester City fell to a late 2-1 defeat against Newcastle at St Jamesβ Park on Sunday.
The 24-year-old opened the scoring for Brendan Rodgers side in their English Premier League matchday 33 fixture against Newcastle United.
Newcastle headed into the game 10 points clear of the relegation zone, needing a win to keep their league status.
While their opponents are unbeaten in their previous five games in all competitions, including a 2-1 Europa Conference League triumph over PSV in midweek that advanced them to the semi-finals.
They also defeated Crystal Palace by the same scoreline in the league last weekend to climb up to ninth place.
It was a tight game at St James’ Park, with both teams tied at halftime, the Foxes gained an early lead through Ademola Lookman following a beautiful set piece move 19 minutes into the game.
Dewsbury-Hall delivered a low cross towards the near post, which Perez flicked on, and Lookman ran onto and drilled the ball towards goal.
Ademola Lookman has now scored six Premier League goals in 21 appearances for Leicester, more than he did in 70 Premier League games for Everton (1) and Fulham (4) combined. He has also scored in each of his past three league starts.
The ball was too fast for Dubravka, who managed to get a hand on it but couldn’t prevent it from crossing the line and giving Leicester the lead.

Newcastle recovered, and Bruno Guimaraes equalized after half an hour, after a tussle in the six-yard box between himself and Schmeichel ended with Guimaraes flicking the ball into the net.
23 & 13 – Bruno GuimarΓ£es' goal is the 23rd set-piece and 13th corner goal Leicester have conceded in the Premier League this season, both competition highs. Repetition.

The goal was first called out, but VAR requested that the referee check the footage, and a goal was granted as a result.
Leicester started well in the first half, but after their equalizer, Newcastle seemed the better team and generated more chances.
Newcastle took all three points in stoppage time when Guimaraes finished off a brilliant counter-attack to make it 2-1.
Newcastle moves up to 14th place in the table, thereby ensuring their survival, as they now have a 12-point lead above Burnley.
The next time they play is in midweek against Crystal Palace. Leicester, however, is still in eighth place and will play Everton on Wednesday.
