Taiwo Awoniyi grabbed his 10th goal of the season for Nottingham to see them through a difficult time.

Manchester City are officially crowned EPL champions after Nottingham Forest defeat Arsenal to ensure their continued participation in the Premier League.

Awoniyi’s game-winning goal caused an uproar at the City Ground.

After being placed under pressure in the opening minutes, Arsenal was beginning to gain control of the game before Odegaard sent a sloppy pass straight to Morgan Gibbs-White.

The 23-year-old English midfielder dashed into the center of the field, before passing the ball to Awoniyi.

Gabriel attempted to deflect the ball away by sliding in, but it struck Awoniyi’s foot instead, flying over Ramsdale and into the net.

The 2022–23 season saw Arsenal hold the top spot in the Premier League standings for 248 days, which is a record for a side that finished second in the English premier division.

Forest are confident they are safe going into their season finale against Crystal Palace since they can’t be overtaken by Southampton, Leicester City, or Everton.

Arsenal’s title hopes are essentially gone after they have won just two of their last eight games. When they play Wolves, they’ll be trying to finish the year strong.
