However, amid the celebrations, Pochettino highlighted a crucial aspect, emphasising the importance of collective teamwork in football, Footballrover reports.

The Ukrainian forward, Mudryk, showed Pochettino what he can contribute on the field of play after grabbing the crucial goal that propelled Chelsea to a 2-1 lead at halftime.

Pochettino lauded Mudryk’s outstanding performance as a number 10 against Leeds United.

Throughout the game, Mudryk exhibited a level of engagement and involvement that surpassed expectations, especially when compared to previous matches where he appeared on the periphery, often stationed on the left wing.

He went on to admit that Mudryk’s goal will surely help boost his confidence.
