Nigerian striker, Vivian Obianujuwan Ikechukwu, recently expressed her excitement on social media as she celebrated Besiktas’ impressive victory against Trabzonspor in the Turkish Super Lig Women’s match.

In this exciting game, the Nigerian International star not only displayed her skill but also scored the opening goal, setting the stage for Besiktas to secure a dominant 6-1 win over their opponents.

Besiktas got off to a flying start, scoring three goals in the first 11 minutes.

Vivian Ikechukwu opened the scoring in the 5th minute and was a constant threat throughout the match, followed by goals from Sofia Alvarez and Opa Clement Tukumbuke.

Trabzonspor pulled one back early in the second half through Grace Mfwamba, but Besiktas responded with three more goals from Clement Tukumbuke, Elif Keskin, and Beyza Kara to seal the victory.

Overall, it was a convincing performance from Besiktas, who will be looking to build on this result in their next match.

The victory moves Vivian Ikechukwu and her Besiktas teammates to 7th position with 14 points after completing 8 rounds of matches.

They are currently 8 points behind the league leaders, Fomget GSK, and maintain a 7-point advantage over Trabzonspor, who are positioned in 11th place.
