Nigerian forward Paul Onuachu has landed in Turkey with fire in his heart and goals on his mind — ready to finish what he started at Trabzonspor.

The Super Eagles striker says he’s back for love, loyalty, and unfinished business, Footballrover reports.
Onuachu back at Trabzonspor to repay love
Paul Onuachu returned to the team on Wednesday night after the Turkish giants reached an agreement with Southampton. For the Nigerian forward, the choice was clear.
“I felt that love when I came on loan. Now I’ve been here for many years. I have unfinished business with this city and this team,” Onuachu told reporters.

The 31-year-old striker was unstoppable during his first loan spell with the team, scoring 15 goals and making four assists in just 21 league matches in the 2023-2024 season.
He touched down in Turkey in style, flying in on a private jet from Amsterdam. A huge crowd of excited Trabzonspor fans welcomed him at the airport — a sign that his connection with the supporters remains strong.
“I saw the love of the fans when I first came, and I see the same love today. I didn’t consider other offers because I wanted to be here.”

Now, Onuachu is determined to repay that love where it matters most — on the pitch. He has promised the Trabzonspor faithful more goals and big moments.

“I’m here to reciprocate that love. My goal is to score as many goals as I can. We want to do good things this season with my team and our coach,” he said.
The tall striker wants to rediscover the form that made him a hero in Turkey and leave behind a tough spell at Southampton.
With the new season ahead, The Black Sea Storm fans are hoping Onuachu’s firepower will lift the club to new heights.
