FC Midtjylland have made headlines again by signing Lucky Clement, who describes himself as an ‘aggressive’ young talent from Nigeria.

The Danish Superliga club confirmed that Clement has joined them from their trusted partner, FC Ebedei, Footballrover reports.

Lucky Clement joins Midtjylland with big dreams

With a history of turning Nigerian players into Superliga stars, FC Midtjylland are betting big on Clement’s grit and hunger to break through.

Clement is not just another signing for Midtjylland. He carries the same spark that made players like Raphael Onyedika and Frank Onyeka household names.

Speaking after signing, Clement said, “It’s huge for me to come to FC Midtjylland. I first heard about the club a very long time ago, and now I’ve signed a contract with them.”

He is known for his hard-tackling playing style and strong defensive skills. Clement described himself: “I am an aggressive and duelling player with good speed. At the same time, I have some strengths in the main game.”

The club’s connection with FC Ebedei continues to bear fruit. Clement will start with the FC Midtjylland U19 team, hoping to rise fast.

For Midtjylland, signing Clement is more than filling a midfield spot. It’s about developing him into another success story like Onyedika.

And Clement shared the same dream:

“It is a great motivation that other Nigerian players have had their breakthrough here. I look up to a player like Raphael Onyedika. He is also a number 6, and he does everything I want on the field. If they can do it, so can I. But for now, it is about keeping your nose in the groove and working hard.”

With toughness, solid passing, and unmatched work rate, Clement could soon step into the Superliga spotlight — and maybe the Super Eagles jersey too.
