Nigerian forward Moses Usor has picked up right where he left off, delivering yet another solid performance and scoring a crucial goal to help LASK clinch the Austria ÖFB Cup title on Friday evening.

With his team already a goal down, Usor stepped up with his trademark composure, firing in the equaliser that dragged the Black-Whites back into the contest, footballrover reports.

The team eventually came from behind twice to secure a 4–2 victory over Altach, sealing the trophy at the Wörthersee Stadion.

The 24-year-old has now found the back of the net in three consecutive matches, following earlier goals against Sturm Graz, Hartberg, and now Altach.

The in-form Nigerian forward has recorded five goals and three assists in his last eight appearances for the club, taking his season tally to 13 goals.

Across all competitions, he now boasts 18 goal contributions in 33 matches, including five assists.

Usor featured for 83 minutes before making way for Krystof Danek. And while he grabbed headlines for his brilliance, fellow Nigerian Precious Benjamin was also involved.

Benjamin came on in the 106th minute to replace Mike-Stephen Bahre, though he could do little to influence the match with his team already trailing 4–2.

The Black-Whites had to dig deep, but they roared back in style to claim the Austria OFB Cup after a dramatic win over Altach in the six-goal thrilling final.

Altach stunned the favourites early, with Patrick Greil putting them ahead in the 5th minute. Moses Usor quickly cancelled it out six minutes later, before Vesel Demaku restored Altach’s lead on the half-hour mark.

Usor breakthrough season transforms LASK’s attack

Samuel Adeniran thought he had levelled earlier, but VAR chalked it off for offside.

Adeniran finally got his moment just after the hour, smashing home the 2–2 equaliser to drag the Athletes back into the contest once again and force extra time.

From there, the Athletes took control. George Bello fired them ahead 11 minutes into extra time after a tidy setup from Kasper Jørgensen, and just three minutes later, Adeniran struck again—this time assisted by Sasa Kalajdzic—to make it 4–2 and seal the comeback.

Altach’s hopes completely faded when Marlon Mustapha was sent off in the 108th minute, barely 13 minutes after coming on, as LASK powered their way to cup glory.

No, it’s not a dream anymore, LASKer, it’s true! For 61 years we have been waiting for this indescribable moment,” the club wrote.

This season clearly marks Usor’s breakthrough at the club. In his first campaign, he managed just one goal and one assist in 16 matches.

His second season produced three goals in 28 appearances, and his third brought only one assist in eight outings.

But his fourth season? A completely different story — one that reflects maturity, confidence, and a striker finally hitting his stride.
