Moses Usor Shines as LASK Cruise Past Hartberg in Austrian Bundesliga
Usor completed the most dribbles in the match (3), displaying his attacking influence, even though he was substituted after 64 minutes for Christoph Lang.
The 24-year-old has now registered four goals and three assists in his last seven appearances for the club, taking his season tally to 12 league goals.
Across all competitions, he now has 17 goal contributions in 32 matches, including five assists.
LASK produced a ruthless display away from home, controlling the game from start to finish as Hartberg struggled to cope with their intensity.
Xavier Mbuyamba opened the scoring as early as the 5th minute, setting the tone for a dominant outing.
Sasa Kalajdzic doubled the lead on the half-hour mark after being set up by Moses Usor, who continued to pull the strings in attack.
Just after the restart, Usor added his own goal in the 46th minute, finishing off a move created by Maximilian Entrup to make it 3-0 and effectively end the contest.
Hartberg briefly responded through Elias Havel in the 48th minute, assisted by Tobias Kainz, but any hopes of a comeback were quickly extinguished.
Late strikes from Christoph Lang in the 92nd minute and a second goal from Kalajdzic in stoppage time sealed a resounding victory for LASK.
The result keeps LASK firmly in the title race, sitting second with 30 points, level on everything except goal difference with league leaders Sturm Graz.
Olayinka Scores in APOEL’s Stunning 3-3 Cyprus Cup Collapse
After scoring in the first leg of the Cyprus Cup semi-final against Apollon Limassol, Peter Olayinka continued his fine form with another goal for APOEL Nicosia against Pafos FC.
With APOEL leading 2-1, Olayinka extended the advantage to 3-1, putting the team in full control of the game.
However, the 30-year-old was left frustrated as APOEL surrendered their lead late on to settle for a dramatic 3-3 draw.
He has now scored three goals this season, finding the net in back-to-back matches, but his efforts were overshadowed by another disappointing result.
APOEL are now winless in four matches, with three straight defeats followed by this draw.
It was pure late chaos in Nicosia, as a match that looked comfortably won turned into heartbreak for the home side.
Stefan Drazic opened the scoring in the 5th minute, before Nikolas Ioannou levelled for Pafos in the 17th minute.
Drazic restored APOEL’s lead in the 28th minute, sending the hosts into halftime in control.
After the break, APOEL looked to have sealed it when Olayinka struck in the 74th minute to make it 3-1.
But deep into stoppage time, Derrick Luckassen stunned the home crowd with goals in the 94th and 95th minutes to complete a dramatic comeback for Pafos.
APOEL drop to 5th place on 49 points after a result that will feel like a defeat.
