Real Madrid, the renowned Spanish club, is poised to acquire the talented Nigerian winger, Samuel Chukwueze, from their La Liga rivals, Villarreal, during the summer transfer window.
This move comes as Real Madrid seeks to fill the void left by the departure of Marco Asensio to Paris St-Germain and the mutual termination of Eden Hazard’s contract.

Samuel Chukwueze has emerged as the prime target for Real Madrid, impressing none other than President Florentino Perez himself.
His notable performance against Real Madrid at Santiago Bernabeu this season has garnered Perez’s admiration.
However, securing the deal will require Real Madrid to make a substantial financial investment, as Chukwueze’s contract with Villarreal extends until next year, with an estimated value of around €80 million.
It is worth noting that Transfer Market assesses Chukwueze’s market value at €20 million, but his impressive record of goals and assists for Villarreal CF during the previous season adds considerable weight to his worth.
Chukwueze’s remarkable performances in the Spanish top-flight have earned him the distinction of being named the Best African Player in the league.
His journey began in 2017 when he joined Villarreal from Nigeria’s Diamond Academy, a football academy where his skills were honed.
His exceptional displays at the FIFA U-17 World Cup in 2015 played a significant role in attracting attention and securing his move to Villarreal.
During the tournament, Chukwueze played a pivotal role in Nigeria’s triumph as they clinched the FIFA U-17 World Cup title, and he personally received the bronze boot as the third highest goalscorer.
Furthermore, Chukwueze was part of the Super Eagles squad that achieved a bronze medal at the 2019 AFCON tournament held in Egypt.
His consistent performances make him a strong contender for inclusion in the upcoming AFCON qualifier fixture against Sierra Leone, where he is expected to represent the Super Eagles.
