Former Super Eagles forward Odion Ighalo has made an exciting start to 2025 by scoring a decisive goal that propelled Al-Wehda to a much-needed 2-1 victory over Al-Fateh in the Saudi Pro League.

The 35-year-old Nigerian striker, who ended 2024 on a bittersweet note with a goal in a 3-2 defeat to Al-Akhdoud, opened the new year with style.
Against Al-Fateh, Ighalo netted Al-Wehda’s second goal in the 26th minute after Craig Goodwin gave the visitors an early lead in the 14th minute.
