Thanks to Naby Keita early strike, Liverpool sealed a 1-0 win over Newcastle United in their Premier League clash at St James’ Park on Saturday afternoon.
Jurgen Klopp made five changes to his team that sealed a 2-0 win against Villarreal.
Salah was rested and replaced by Jota, while Fabinho and Thiago were substituted in the middle for Milner and Keita.
Matip also came in to pair with Van Dijk, while Alexander-Arnold was given a break as Gomez was brought in.
Newcastle, on the other hand, made three changes from the team that defeated Norwich on the road last time out as well.
Lascelles was replaced on the bench by Schar, who returns to the backline. Almiron started ahead of Murphy, while Longstaff was replaced by Shelvey for the hosts.

Liverpool took the lead after 19 minutes of game play, thanks to a Naby Keita strike.
After generating the opportunity with a fantastic one-two with Diogo Jota, the midfielder remained composed under pressure with a precise finish.
Milner initiated the move by winning the ball on the slide with a great challenge on Schar.
Liverpool moved the ball to the right wing, where Keita attempts a give-and-go with Jota, who unleashed him with a superb pass.
The midfielder still had work to do, but he finds the opportunity to round Dubravka before unleashing his left foot past two men on the line.
The Reds had controlled possession before to the goal, but with only one goal separating the two teams, the Magpies were hoping to get a chance to seal a point but failed.
