Thiago Silva’s wife Bella had dropped a huge hint on the Future of her husband at Chelsea, just after their 2-0 win over Aston Villa on Sunday.

The fans of Chelsea Football Club are looking likely to be seeing their top-class defender, Thiago Silva remain at the club for at least one more season or maybe more.

Bella Silva, the Brazilian defender’s wife, recently acknowledged that they don’t have any immediate intentions to leave the team yet.

Obviously they are enjoying their time at Stamford Bridge as she claimed and quoted by transfer news specialist – Fabrizio Romano, who shared the news on his official Twitter account.

The Chelsea defender is quite open to discussing a new deal with the team but will meet with the Blues as soon as possible—possibly within next month.

Silva, who signed with Chelsea in the summer of 2020 as a free agent, recently turned 38. Despite this, the Brazilian has been an important member of the Blues’ starting lineup and has excelled both under Thomas Tuchel and Chelsea’s new manager – Graham Potter.

According to Thiago Silva’s wife Bella;

Since switching from French Ligue 1 side – PSG to Premier League, Thiago Silva has been instrumental to the Chelsea team.

Surprisingly, the Brazilian has gone on to win the FIFA Club World Cup, UEFA Super Cup, and UEFA Champions League.

Silva’s current deal, which he inked in January 2022, is set to expire towards the end of the current campaign, but Bella, Silva’s wife, says Chelsea fans shouldn’t be troubled as they are not in a hurry to leave the West London side.

Only one month into his tenure at Stamford Bridge, new Chelsea manager – Graham Potter has already dubbed Silva as “a joy to work with.”
