During the round one match of the 2023/2024 English Carabao Cup, Kelechi Iheanacho and Wilfred Ndidi found the back of the net, marking their first goals for the season.

Their exceptional performance in the first half secured a triumphant win for the Enzo Maresca side at the Pirelli Stadium.

Iheanacho initiated the scoring, followed by an impressive assist to Ndidi, further solidifying Leicester City’s dominance in the Carabao Cup first round triumph against Burton Albion.

With Leicester City firmly in control, the former Man City youngster – Iheanacho effortlessly switched into the role of provider, orchestrating a seamless connection with his compatriot to double the team’s lead and secure the victory.

Thanks to the convincing victory, Leicester City advances to the competition’s second round where they will be facing Tranmere Rovers.
