Black Stars of Ghana head coach Otto Addo has claimed that Nigeria’s Super Eagles are vulnerable, revealing that his team has mapped out a strategic plan for victory in their upcoming international friendly.
It’s not just a friendly game; it’s yet another Jollof Rice Derby between Ghana and the Super Eagles that is set to hold at the Grand Stade de Marrakech later today, Footballrover reports.
This game promises a fiercely contested encounter fueled by the historic rivalry between the two nations.
In anticipation of the match, the former Borussia Dortmund coach aims to kick off his second tenure as coach of the Black Stars with a success story over Nigeria.
He emphasised his team’s familiarity with their opponents’ weaknesses, noting instances of vulnerability displayed by the Super Eagles during the AFCON final and other matches.
“Even though they went to the AFCON final, they showed in some matches that they are vulnerable, so anything can happen,” Addo remarked confidently, expressing his hope for a strong start and a victorious outcome for his side.

However, at the other end of the pitch, Nigerian interim coach Finidi George has expressed the opinion that meetings with Ghana go beyond what is considered a “friendly match.”
Drawing on his extensive experience since the 1992 Africa Cup of Nations, George emphasises the intensity and significance of clashes between the two West African football powerhouses.
