Manchester City star – Raheem Sterling is apparently the subject of a fresh offer from Chelsea, with the Premier League champions willing to transfer the England international for £45 million and the Blues are chasing him as their number attacking choice.

Thomas Tuchel is looking to add a new hitman to his Chelsea front line, and according to Fabrizio Romano, the Blues are preparing a fresh offer for the forward.

Several reports online states that Man City are now ready accept an offer of £45 million, contrary to earlier reports that Sterling can only leave for £60 million.

Sterling is expected to leave Manchester this summer after the additions of Erling Haaland and Julian Alvarez at the Etihad.

Since joining the Pep Guardiola squad in 2015 for a deal of £49 million, Sterling has had an outstanding career, winning four Premier League titles.

The 27-year-old was a key player for Pep Guardiola’s team last season, scoring 17 goals across all competitions. Thomas Tuchel is really eager to sign the English star, who could turn around the Blues’ offensive fortunes.

Following Romelu Lukaku’s loan move to Inter, it appears that the Blues are seriously considering entirely rebuilding their attacking force this summer.
