Switzerland attacking sensation – Breel Embolo, whose father resides in Cameroon, scored the first, and crucial World Cup goal for his country of birth at the on-going 2022 Qatar World Cup.

Cameroon had dazzled in the first half with Brentford marksman, Bryan Mbeumo combining effectively with Karl Toko Ekambi, and Eric Maxim Choupo Moting.
The trio terrorised Switzerland goal area in 9th, and 13th minutes, and narrowly missed taking the lead in the first half.
Cameroon had 2 shots on target in the first half without making effective use of the chances that came their way in the first half of the match.
