It was heartbreak moment for the Congo Republic U20 team after they went down 5-4 on Penalties at the last quarter final match of the on-going CAF African Cup of Nations, AFCON in Egypt.Tunisia stun Congo Republic to pick U20 AFCON semi-final spot, World Cup ticket

Tunisia did not only pick the last spot of the Semi-finals of the Continental football Championship, the North Africans also qualified for U-20 World Cup.

Tunisian goalkeeper – Reed Gazzeh, was undoubtedly the hero of the match as he saved two of the Congolese Penalty attempts.

Congo Republic had the match under its control as they were leading 3-2 at the end end of 90 minutes duration of the match with Congolese attacker scoring hat-trick during the game.

Tunisia leveled scores to 3-3 thirty seconds to end of second half of the extra time through Ali Saoudi.

Jibril Othman had drawn Tunisia level ( 1-1) in 37th minutes of the first half, while Samy Chouchane gave the North Africans a 2-1 lead in 76th minutes of the second half.

Tunisia will now meet Senegal in the second Semi-final match of the U-20 CAF Africa Cup Nations.
