Morocco, ranked 22 by FIFA, and one of African Representatives at Qatar 2022 World Cup humiliated World’s Second Best Team – Belgium 2-0 in round 2, Group F, match played today at Al Thumama Stadium, Al Thumama Stadium, Qatar.

Two Moroccan team substitutes, Zachariah Abuokhiai and Abdelhamid Sabiri respectively scored the two crucial goals to guarantee the Moroccan Team maximum three points in 68, and 78 minutes of the second half of the match.

Hakim Ziyech’s extra time goal (45+3 minutes) was cancelled by the referee, Cesar Arturo Ramos Palazuelos,after VAR check.

The World Cup match was, however, lighted up by the presence of the Hazard Brothers, Eden and Thorgan who featured for the Belgian team for the first time in the World Cup, thus becoming the first brothers to play for any National Team in a World Cup match.
