Senegal U-20 football team became the first team to qualify for quarter-finals of the on-going U-20 CAF Africa Cup Of Nations in Egypt.
Senegal defeated their second opponent, Mozambique, 3-0 in Round 2 of the Group A, match played at Cairo International Stadium.
Senegalese marksman – Pape Diallo, scored a brace in the match to seal the quarter final ticket and maximum six points in the group for the West African soccer power house.

Pape Diallo gave Senegal the lead in the second minutes of first half extra time by converting a rebound from Lamine Camara’s volley.
Samba Diallo then increased the tally to two for the Senegalese in the the 54th minutes of the second half after, converting another rebound from from Pape Diop.
Pape Diop’s shot had hit Mozambique right post, and rebounded into the field of play for Samba Diallo to score Senegal’s second goal.
Diallo was later replaced by Mame Mor Faye in 67th minutes of the second half of the match.
Pape Diallo scored his brace for the Senegalese team, and in the Championship after heading in a Souleymane Basse left wing cross in 85th minutes of the second half for the team’s third goal of the match.
Senegal had earlier defeated Nigeria in the first match of the group to comfortably saddle the leadership of the group with 6 points after 2 wins.
