FC Sellier Vlàsím, a Czech Republic football club, has announced the signing of promising and exciting young Nigerian defender Peter Oluwajuwonlo Kareem.

The 20-year-old right-back joins the club after completing his routine medical examination.

The defender was born on August 10, 2003, in Nigeria, and joins Vlašim from the Imperial FC team.

Kareem previously played for Imperial FC before making the switch to improve his career.

Footballrover understands that the defender was included in head coach Martin Hysk’s team from the beginning of this year’s winter training.

He impressed the coaching staff with his performance during his winter training stint, when he participated in five out of six preparatory matches.

Jan Jícha, the club’s sports director, praised Kareem’s potential, describing him as a “young and interesting player” who will be a valuable asset to the team.

The director expressed huge belief in the defender, admitting their satisfaction with securing him through a contract.
