The 23-year-old forward found the back of the net to help Genk pull off a 3-1 win over RWD Molenbeek at the Cegeka Arena on Sunday, Footballrover reports.

Tolu Arokodare scored for the second game in a row as KRC Genk came from behind to earn a home victory in Belgium Pro League matchday 26.

The home fans were stunned early in the Juniper Pro League encounter when Carlos Alberto gave the visitors the lead just two minutes into the match.

However, they rallied fast and found the equaliser 19 minutes later through the Nigerian Arokodare.

Luca Oyen gave them the lead going into halftime, and Andi Zeqiri’s late goal clinched the win and all three points for the home team.

The young player made a significant impact despite playing for only 64 minutes. He attempted over seven shots, but only one found the target.

This continues a recent trend, as he also had seven shots in their previous match, with only one finding the net, which helped his team secure a draw against Mechelen.

The Lagos-born forward has been impressive for KRC Genk this season, contributing to 10 goals in 25 league matches.

He has scored eight goals and provided two assists.

Arokodare and his teammates will face Charleroi on Friday, aiming to climb the table from their current seventh position with 40 points.
