Nigerian midfielder David Moses has officially joined Czech Republic giants Slavia Prague.
The 20-year-old playmaker arrives from MFK Karvina and has signed a five-year deal that will keep him at the club until 2029,Ā Footballrover reports.
His excitement for the new challenge was clearly seen over him as he set to embark on this next step in his career.

David Moses expressed his excitement after joining what he calls āthe best team in the Czech Republic.ā
He acknowledged that playing for the Red-Whites is a major step forward, and he is eager to make a name for himself at the club.
“I feel great; I’m very happy. Itās a big step for me, a big challenge. Iām going to the best team in the Czech Republic,ā he told the clubās official website.
Moses highlighted his admiration for fellow Nigerian players at ÄervenobĆlĆ, including Peter Olayinka, who he described as a legend.
He also spoke highly of the performances of Igoh Ogbu and Muhamed Tijani, noting that they have served as inspirations throughout his journey.

Although Moses has not yet had the chance to play in front of Slavia Pragueās passionate supporters, heās heard plenty about their support and is looking forward to experiencing it first-hand.
His ambition is clear: to help the club succeed and make an impact every time he steps onto the pitch.
āI want to make a name for myself, help the club. I havenāt played in Eden (Slavia’s home ground) yet, but Iāve heard a lot about the fans. Iām looking forward to playing in front of them.ā

He emphasised that while he aspires to score and assist in every game, he understands that football doesnāt always go as planned.

Sports director Jiri Bilek also shared his confidence in the midfielder, calling him an āextremely interesting playerā with proven ability in the Czech league.
Bilek also revealed that,
“Many clubs were interested in him, not only from the Czech Republic. We believe that he will fit perfectly into our playing style. This is a great promise for the future.”
