Moses Ebiye, the Nigerian forward with a knack for dramatic finishes, has earned a reputation for being Motherwell’s go-to man when it comes to clutch, late goals.Moses' Miracle: Meet the Nigerian Forward Delivering Unbelievable Late Goals for Motherwell

At 27, Ebiye has repeatedly left fans in so much excitement, snatching victory—or at least a fighting chance—in the dying moments of matches, Footballrover reports.

With thrilling strikes after the 90th minute against Dundee United, Kilmarnock, and St Johnstone (twice), Ebiye’s late-game heroics have become the stuff of legend.

Here’s a quick breakdown of his miracle moments:

1. 90+3′ Minute Winner vs Dundee United

It all began in the middle of last season when Motherwell visited Dundee United.

The home side had dominated the match and were cruising with a 2-0 lead by the 70th minute.Moses' Miracle: Meet the Nigerian Forward Delivering Unbelievable Late Goals for Motherwell

Motherwell, however, had other plans. After pulling one back in the 81st minute, the stage was set for Ebiye’s magic.

Coming on as a substitute in the 74th minute, Ebiye scored a dramatic 93rd-minute winner, sealing a jaw-dropping 3-2 victory for his side.

The Nigerian forward wasn’t finished there.

2. 90+4′ Consolation Goal vs St Johnstone

A month later, despite Motherwell falling to a 2-1 home defeat against St Johnstone, Ebiye struck again—this time in the 94th minute.

Unfortunately, it was a mere consolation as St Johnstone’s first-half dominance proved insurmountable.

Fast forward to the 2024/25 season, and Ebiye’s late-game theatrics continued.

3. Extra-Time Winner vs Kilmarnock

In a tense Scottish League Cup clash against Kilmarnock, the game was deadlocked at 0-0 after 90 minutes.

Enter Ebiye in the 74th minute. Six minutes into stoppage time, he delivered yet another last-gasp winner, sending Motherwell fans into jubilations.

4. 90+4′ Decisive Goal vs St Johnstone (Again!)

His latest feat came in another League Cup showdown with St Johnstone. After an early lead was cancelled out, the game seemed destined for extra time.

But once again, Ebiye came to the rescue, scoring in the 94th minute to hand Motherwell a dramatic 2-1 win.

Ebiye’s Journey to Motherwell

Since moving to Motherwell, Ebiye has proven to be a match-winner, despite joining the team as a free agent after leaving Aalesund.

Last season, he appeared in only six games, scoring two goals. This season, however, he has already played in three matches, finding the back of the net twice.

Ebiye joined Motherwell in January 2024 after spending an entire season without a club.

The former Akwa United star has experienced several loan spells, moving from Lillestrøm to Strømmen, before signing with HamKam as a free agent.

After six months at HamKam, he transferred to Tromsø, eventually settling at Aalesund in 2022.Moses Ebiye: Motherwell's Miracle Man for Late Goals

When his contract expired, he was left without a club. Now, Moses has the chance to rediscover his scoring touch and revive his career.

As we look ahead to the international break, all eyes will be on him to see if he can continue delivering those crucial late goals.

With his late goals quickly becoming his signature, fans can only wonder—how many more miracles does Moses have up his sleeve this season?
