Cyriel Dessers is currently in superb form, having registered his first Scottish Premiership assist of the season to drive Rangers to a commanding triumph in the Scottish Premiership.
Dessers played an important role, setting up the opening goal that kicked off Rangers’ dominating 2-0 win over Motherwell, with fellow countryman Leon Balogun delivering an impressive defensive performance that secured the victory.
At Fir Park, the 29-year-old Nigerian forward orchestrated Glasgow Rangers’ initial strike, combining seamlessly with Kieran Dowell to score barely three minutes into the match.
Shortly after, Rangers’ midfielder Todd Cantwell doubled the lead, sealing the game with that scoreline at the final whistle, Footballrover reports.
This game marked Dessers’ seventh contribution in the league, as he has now recorded six league goals and an additional assist to his name.
Throughout the match, the Super Eagles star displayed his mettle, featuring for the full 90 minutes, winning ten duels, and notching two shots.

The stellar performance extended beyond Dessers, as Balogun, equally impressive, secured four tackles and triumphed in 14 duels.
The 35-year-old defender has played a crucial role in four out of the five clean sheets that Rangers maintained throughout the month.
Dessers and Balogun’s standout performances will not only continue to bolster Rangers’ pursuit of excellence in the Premiership but might likely hand them a call-up for the AFCON.
