Kano Pillars Football Club has made significant changes to its technical crew led by Evans Ogenyi after the conclusion of the 2023 Nigeria National League.
Kano Pillars FC Announces Technical Crew Dismissal
The club’s spokesperson, Rilwanu Idris Malikawa, confirmed that the technical crew’s contractual agreement had expired, leading to their immediate dismissal.
The one-season agreement ended with the conclusion of the 2023 Nigeria National League, where Kano Pillars finished second and secured promotion to the Nigeria Premier League.
Players whose contracts ended were advised not to return to the club until formally invited.
Outgoing technical crew members interested in continuing with the club must submit their applications to the Secretariat.
The club also adjusted its training schedule, moving the resumption date from July 17, 2023, to July 23, 2023.

This change allows the new technical crew, yet to be appointed, more time to prepare the players.
Expressing gratitude for the contributions of the technical crew and players, the club management thanked them in the official statement and wished them success in their future endeavors.
The club aims to improve performance and achieve success in the upcoming season.
As the club looks forward to resuming training under new leadership, Kano Pillars fans will be hoping for better days in the Nigeria Premier League.
