Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) goal machine, Mustapha Ibrahim Yuga, has officially sealed a move to El-Kanemi Warriors, marking a return to the club where his professional career took off.

The forward’s transfer comes on the heels of an impressive campaign with Kano Pillars, where he contributed significantly to help the team maintain its status in the league, Footballrover reports.

The acquisition of the 27-year-old forward is a major coup for El-Kanemi Warriors, who have been steadily building a formidable squad.

The Borno Army will now have the opportunity to unleash the prolific striker on the continent, as the CAF Confederation Cup deadline has been extended to July 25th.

Known for his clinical finishing and goal-scoring ability, Yuga has been a consistent threat in the NPFL.

With 21 goals contribution to his name in the 2023/24 season, he proved to be a key figure for Kano Pillars.

The Maiduguri-born forward began his professional journey with El-Kanemi Warriors before embarking on a career that saw him represent clubs like Enyimba, Plateau United, Al-Hilal, and Dibba Al-Hisn.

His return to his roots is expected to ignite a new chapter in his career.
