One Abubakar Mohammed, a staunch fan of Gombe United has donated 40 sets of training jerseys to the club ahead of their Nigeria Premier Football League – NPFL 2023 campaign.
In a move to inspire them to success in their new NPFL campaign, Abubakar Mohammed Hassan CEO of Best Sportswear today donated the sets of training jerseys the club
Mohammed said the thoughtful act was a part of his encouragement for the club’s development, emphasizing that he wants the team to contend for the championship and a place on the continent this year.
While presenting the materials to the club’s general manager – Abubakar Abubakar Yellow, Abubakar Hassan noted that he was just offering a small gift to the Savannah Scorpions as a devoted fan.
He pledged to continue to support the team and hoped for a smooth and successful domestic league campaign.
While accepting the training jerseys, Abubakar Abubakar Yellow, General Manager of Gombe United, praised Abubakar Hassan for the generosity and promised to buy his goods.
“I want to on behalf of the management of the club, technical crew and the players thank you for your benevolence. This is a clear indication of your love for the club and we pray to have more people like you who have the zeal and passion to support the club.” – he said.
The Gombe United General Manager added;
“On our part, we will reciprocate the the gesture by patronizing your products. We really appreciate the gesture.”
The club will be looking to kickoff their 2023 campaign on a solid note when they traveled to Ibadan for their matchday one encounter against Kwara United on Sunday.
