Remo Stars’ head coach, Daniel Ogunmodede, has staked his claim with pride by extending his contract with the Ikenne team.
It’s now official: Ogunmodede will continue to lead the NPFL 2023/24 runner-ups for the next three years, Footballrover reports.
The Sky Blue Stars will continue to be guided by Ogunmodede’s tactical brilliance until 2027.
In an interview with NPFL media, the Remo Stars gaffer expressed immense joy at the contract renewal.
“Saying I am glad is an understatement. This is my club, my project,” he stated.
The manager stated that since he will be a crucial member of the team’s project until for the next few years, the new deal would provide the motivation for the forthcoming campaign.
Having dedicated years to building the Kogi-based team, Ogunmodede’s relentless hard work and consistent approach have paid off.
The former assistant coach at Portuguese side CD Feirense is clearly over the moon with the club’s faith in him, seeing it as a massive vote of confidence and encouragement.
Coach Dan Ijabal expressed joy that the club recognised his contributions and deemed him worthy of another contract extension.
He went on to pen down some words to fans of the NPFL side, saying,
“Dear Remo Stars Faithfuls, the past few years have been incredibly exciting and adventurous with you. I’m thrilled to continue our shared journey towards greatness in the years ahead. Let’s Keep Pushing Forward.”
Under Ogunmodede’s stewardship, Remo Stars have consistently challenged for the NPFL title, securing second-place finishes in the last two seasons.
Better Days Ahead !!
Together We Can Be Better…💪🏾
