A glorious career spanning five continents
Before her time at CSKA Moscow, Francisca Ordega had already built a remarkable career across the globe.
She briefly played for Spain’s Levante UD before moving to Russia. Her diverse career includes stints with WFC Rossiyanka (Russia), Piteå IF (Sweden), Washington Spirit (USA), Sydney FC (Australia), Atlético de Madrid Femenino (Spain), and Shanghai Shengli (China).
Her move to China was also historic, making her the first African female footballer to compete across five continents.
Ordega has been a crucial part of the Super Falcons, winning four Africa Women’s Cup of Nations titles (2010, 2014, 2016, 2018) and earning over 45 international caps.
She has also represented Nigeria in three FIFA Women’s World Cups (2011, 2015, 2019).
