Alongside Edo Queens, other newcomers include Aigles de la Medina (Senegal), the University of the Western Cape (South Africa), Tutankhamun (Egypt), and CBE FC (Ethiopia).
These teams will face stiff competition from seasoned heavyweights such as two-time champions Mamelodi Sundowns (South Africa), 2022 title holders ASFAR (Morocco), and TP Mazembe (DR Congo), who return after missing the last edition in Côte d’Ivoire.
Adding to the event’s significance, Moroccan football icon Fatiha Laasiri, a former ASFAR star and current U-23 Morocco Women’s National Team coach, will assist with the draw.
