Ebenezer Akinsanmiro delivered a brilliant performance on Friday night, providing his first assist of the season as Pisa battled to a dramatic 2–2 draw against AC Milan in Serie A.

The young midfielder was at the heart of Pisa’s biggest moments, driving their comeback and playing the full 90 minutes at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza, Footballrover reports.

Ebenezer Akinsanmiro’s Brilliant Assist Sparks Late Drama

Akinsanmiro, on loan from Inter Milan, produced the game’s decisive moment in the 86th minute.

Spotting a forward run from deep, the 20-year-old launched a stunning long pass from the centre circle that sliced through Milan’s backline.

His vision and precision set up M’Bala Nzola, who controlled it on his chest and finished calmly to give Pisa a 2–1 lead.

It was Akinsanmiro’s sixth Serie A appearance of the season, taking him to over 568 minutes of league football.

Despite losing several duels in midfield, he remained influential in possession and continued to demand the ball under pressure.

Late AC Milan Equaliser Denies Victory

Pisa were seconds from a famous win, but Milan struck back in stoppage time, with Zachary Athekame’s long-range effort in the 93rd minute making it 2–2 and rescuing a point for the league leaders.

Rafael Leão had earlier opened the scoring for Milan in the 7th minute, before Juan Cuadrado levelled in the 60th minute to put Pisa back in the contest.

Pisa’s late surge looked enough until Milan’s dramatic equaliser denied them their second win of the campaign.

The draw leaves Pisa in the relegation zone, sitting 18th with four points from eight matches.

Milan remain top of the table with 17 points but could be overtaken depending on results for Inter Milan, Napoli, and AS Roma.
