After helping the Red Devils secure a controversial victory over their City rivals during their Manchester Derby on Saturday, Bruno Fernandes have decided to drop hint on how Chelsea can fix their team and start winning games.
Many are debating if Potter is the appropriate guy for the position after Chelsea’s recent awful performance, which the 47-year-old has called the hardest in the game of football.
Chelsea are currently in a bad situation with just one win in ten Premier League matches, and there is no shortage of fan criticism on social media right now.
On Wednesday, Chelsea succeeded in adding Joao Felix to Potter’s team on a temporary loan, but they suffered a setback when the Atletico Man was dismissed on his Blues debut.
The Blues’ issues deepened on Thursday with a humiliating Premier League defeat at Fulham, during which the newly acquired Joao Felix was sent off for a two-footed tackle.
The West London side’s poor record has put Graham Potter under intense strain, and the under-fire head coach acknowledged that their woes are affecting him off the pitch.
Potter claims that the harsh criticism hurled at him is also having an impact on his family, but one may tend to wonder, was he not aware of the absurdly difficult position he was taking on?
However, Manchester United midfielder – Bruno Fernandes, has provided a clue as to how Graham Potter can make improvements to his Chelsea squad and permanently change the course of the team’s fortunes.
The 28-year-old midfielder admitted that the Red Devils used to play more individually but now plays more as a team after their narrow victory over Pep Guardiola’s team on Saturday.
While speaking to BT sports, Bruno Fernandes said;
“We used to be individuals… now we are a team, you can see a proper team that works for each other.”
The same is true for Graham Potter’s team, who must cease functioning as a single unit and begin playing more like a team. The squad is obviously quite divided, and they are not performing as a unified group.
