Ferencváros and Estac Troyes have made big transfer moves that could shape their upcoming seasons. Hungarian champions secured Bamidele Yusuf in a four-year deal, while French side Estac Troyes snapped up 18-year-old striker Elijah Odede.

Both Nigerian forwards are arriving with exciting form and strong expectations, Footballrover reports.

Bamidele Yusuf Joins Ferencváros to Boost Attack

Ferencváros confirmed the signing of Bamidele Yusuf from Serbian side FK Vojvodina.

The 24-year-old winger had a standout campaign in the SuperLiga last season, scoring 18 goals and providing four assists across all competitions.

This season, Yusuf continued his fine form with three goals in five appearances before his move to Hungary.

His attacking record placed him among the top-scoring Nigerian players in Europe.

Head coach Robbie Keane believes Yusuf will be key to their Europa League campaign:

— “Yusuf is a player we’ve monitored closely. He’s young, hungry, and offers something different. His speed and creativity are exactly what we need going into the Europa League.”

At his unveiling, Yusuf expressed gratitude and excitement for the journey ahead:

— “I’m thankful to everyone at Vojvodina who supported me. Signing for Ferencváros is a big step forward in my career. I understand the expectations and I’m ready to give my all to help the team achieve success.”

He later shared on Instagram:

Estac Troyes Snaps Up Rising Star Elijah Odede

In another transfer highlight, French side Estac Troyes announced the signing of Odede on a five-year deal until June 2030.

The 18-year-old striker was trained at Castle Football Academy in Nigeria before joining Sheriff Tiraspol in Moldova.

Odede showed promise in his first season, scoring 2 goals and providing 3 assists in all competitions.

He has already improved this year with 7 goals since June, including three in European competition.

Known for his speed and dribbling, Elijah Odede arrives in France as a developing talent:

Position: Striker

Strengths: Fast, impactful, and clinical in front of goal
