Bendel Insurance 1-1 Shooting Stars

The Benin City crowd saw an early flurry as Ismail Ayodele struck in the 5th minute for Shooting Stars, but Alex Oweilayefa levelled seven minutes later. Neither side could find a winner, and it ended in a tie.

Warri Wolves 2-0 Enugu Rangers

The Warri Boys showed their bite at home, stunning Enugu Rangers with goals from Godwin Oham just at the stroke of half time and Prince Ebhonhon in the 77th minute. A massive statement win for Warri Wolves.

Ikorodu City 0-0 El Kanemi Warriors

Both sides cancelled each other out in a cagey clash. The Oga Boys impressed defensively, while their counterparts from Maiduguri were frustrated in front of goal.

Plateau United 1-2 Katsina United

It was heartbreak for the Peace Boys in Jos as Sadiq Auwal and Uche Collins fired Katsina 2–0 up. Despite Albert Hilary pulling one back in the 70th minute, Plateau couldn’t find the equaliser.

Rivers United 1-0 Kwara United

A single but stunning strike from Ubong Friday barely 22 minutes into the game was enough to seal all three points for the Pride of Rivers, bouncing back after their Matchday 1 setback against the defending champions.

Kano Pillars 1-1 Wikki Tourists

Wikki stunned Pillars with Ahmed Abubakar’s 12th-minute opener, but Mustapha Umar equalised just before halftime. Honours even in Kano.

Bayelsa United 2-0 Barau FC

Bayelsa stayed perfect with another dominant display. Magbisa Wisdom converted a penalty in the 59th minute before Eyong Ofem added a second to seal the win.

Enyimba 1-0 Niger Tornadoes

The People’s Elephant roared to their first win of the season thanks to an early strike from Joseph Abiodun just six minutes into the encounter. The Minna Boys never recovered.

Nasarawa United 1-0 Abia Warriors

The Solid Miners got their campaign going with a Leonard Ugochukwu 10th-minute goal, enough to edge the Umuahia Warriors in a tight contest.

Kun Khalifat 1-2 Remo Stars

A game full of twists. Henry Ezeonye gave the newly promoted side the lead from the spot in the 15th minute, but the Sky Blue Stars hit back with Ibrahim Abubakar in the 69th minute and Samson Olasupo just eight minutes later, completing a brilliant comeback for the reigning champions.
