Victor Olatunji on Tuesday night scored his first goal of the season for Sparta Prague in their UEFA Champions League qualifying penalty shootout defeat against FC Copenhagen.
The 23-year-old Nigerian forward only featured for just 48 minutes in the game with two shots on goal in their 3-3 draw vs. Danish Superliga side Copenhagen at the Epet Arena.
In the thrilling encounter, Swedish star Jordan Larsson quickly put Copenhagen ahead with an early goal.
Veljko Birmančević, the man on loan from Toulouse, found the net in the 80th minute for Sparta Prague, followed by Qazim Laci’s goal in the 105th minute.
Copenhagen’s Viktor Claesson responded with a goal in injury time before Victor Olatunji extended Sparta Prague’s lead in the 107th minute.
The super sub Victor Olatunji found the back of the net to help his team retake the lead in the second half of extra-time with a simple tapteammatein after a rebound from his ‘s header.
He easily sent the ball into the goal, which had bounced off the post and fell in front of him.

Victor Olatunji grabbed his first goal for Czech club Sparta Prague to make it 3-2 in extra-time, but FC Copenhagen scored five minutes later to level 3-3 in the UCL qualifying game.
Not to be outdone, Viktor Claesson secured his brace to level the scores for Copenhagen.
The Danish side later won the game 4-2 on penalties. The Champions League third qualifying round, Leg 2 of 2, ended 3-3 on aggregate, with Copenhagen winning 4-2 on penalties.
They will continue their European adventure in the Europa League Qualification Playoffs.
Recall that the young striker joined the Czech Fortuna Liga champions, AC Sparta Prague, on a multi-year deal from FC Slovan Liberec, where he scored 10 goals in the league last season.
