In a post-match interview, Sor expressed his team’s ambition, saying,
“The goal is to reach the top six. These two victories in a row are good, and we look at it match by match.”
Still reflecting on the match, Sor highlighted Genk’s dominance, emphasising their strong attacking and defensive displays.
He attributed the victory to the team’s willpower and collective effort, acknowledging that the first half posed some challenges.

The 23-year-old also shared insights into his evolving role within the team, revealing that he plays as a wing attacker but ended up scoring as a striker.
He credited the coach’s tactical instructions, which saw him support fellow Nigerian Tolu Arokodare upfront, a strategy that proved effective against Charleroi.
Genk’s victory against Charleroi has elevated them to fifth place in the league standings, positioning them well within reach of the coveted top-six finish and a spot in the championship playoffs.
