Nigerian forward Tolu Arokodare was on target for KRC Genk once again as they stunned Belgian Pro League champions Club Brugge with a crushing defeat during their clash on Sunday.
Genk defied the odds over the weekend as they staged a thrilling comeback to defeat defending champions 3-2 in matchday three of the Belgian Jupiler, Footballrover reports.
The Nigerian striker Tolu was in the heat of the hour, finding the net once again to help his side overturn a two-goal deficit.
The game at the Cegeka Arena was a full joy watch and very entertaining, with Club Brugge racing to a 2-0 lead courtesy of a Skov Olsen brace before the break and early in the second half.
Genk refused to back down, however, and pulled one back through Jarne Steuckers from the penalty spot.
The drama continued when Arokodare levelled the score with just seven minutes remaining.

The home crowd was left with so much jubilation when Patrik Hrosovsky snatched a dramatic winner deep into stoppage time, completing an unforgettable comeback.
Arokodare, who played the entire match, has now scored in back-to-back league games.
The 23-year-old’s previous goal came in a 3-1 defeat to OH Leuven.
Fellow Nigerian Yira Sor also featured for Genk before being replaced by Christopher Baah, while Super Eagles midfielder Raphael Onyedika played for Club Brugge until the final eight minutes.
The victory lifts Genk to eighth place in the table, while Club Brugge sits in 13th.
Arokodare and his teammates will look to build on this momentum when they travel down to Olympisch Stadion to face Beerschot VA away on Saturday.
