The Nigerian sensation made an impactful entry from the bench, netting the decisive goal that secured a hard-fought 1-0 win for KRC Genk, earning them three valuable points, Footballrover reports.

The clash at the Stade du Pays de Charleroi remained deadlocked until Sor’s intervention in the 71st minute.

The tense affair saw both teams fiercely contesting every inch, with neither side able to break the deadlock until Sor’s heroics.

Coming on as a substitute for Luca Oyen, Sor wasted no time, finding the net barely a minute after his introduction.

Despite featuring for just 20 minutes, the 23-year-old winger made his presence felt, firing off two shots and tallying his sixth goal of the season, along with one assist, in 18 Jupiler Pro League appearances.

Meanwhile, Sor’s compatriot, Tolu Arokodare, a consistent performer for Genk in recent outings, couldn’t replicate his scoring form this time around.

Despite a full 90-minute display and three attempts on goal, Arokodare couldn’t find the target.

With ten goals in 26 matches this season, Arokodare has been instrumental for Genk.

However, Sor’s recent exploits have seen him close the gap with seven goals in 18 appearances.
