The Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) is about to get even hotter as Wikki Tourists, Barau FC, Kun Khalifat FC, and Warri Wolves storm into the top flight with statement wins.

These rising clubs secured their spots in style, setting up fresh rivalries and big dreams for the new NPFL season, Footballrover reports.
Wikki Tourists & Barau FC Dominate Northern Conference
Coach Abdul Maikaba led Wikki team back to the NPFL in grand style, thrashing 10-man Yobe Desert Stars FC 4-0 in the Super 8 Playoffs.
Yakubu Wonderson bagged a stunning first-half hat-trick, with Hosea Habila sealing the win for the Tourists.
Yobe’s Usman Mubarak saw red just three minutes after Wikki scored their fourth.

On their social media, Wikki Tourists shouted it loud: “Hello Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL)! We are back.”
Barau FC of Kano also made history, securing their first-ever NPFL promotion after beating Doma FC 2-0 at DELSU Stadium, Ozoro.
Usman Maidubuji struck early in the 19th minute, before Shammasu Mohammed doubled Barau FC’s lead 14 minutes later.
Both Wikki Tourists and Barau FC topped the Northern Conference playoffs with five points each.

With Barau FC owned by Deputy Senate President Sen Barau Jibrin, Kano now boasts another NPFL contender — expect a heated Kano Derby next season: Kano Pillars vs Barau FC.
Kun Khalifat FC & Warri Wolves Rule the South
Kun Khalifat FC from Imo State made headlines too, securing their NPFL promotion by defeating Osun United 2-1 in the Southern Conference Playoffs.
They struck early — scoring in the 6th minute, then doubling up just after 18 minutes.

Although Ganiyu Gberefun pulled one back for Osun United from the spot, Kun Khalifat FC held firm to seal their top spot with six points.
Not to be outdone, the Warri team joined the NPFL party by edging out Crown FC 2-1. Abdulateef Yusuff gave Warri Wolves the lead after 36 minutes.
Crown’s Ibrahim Obansa equalised almost instantly, but tjhe Warri Boys weren’t done — a decisive winner in the 67th minute sent the Wolves faithful wild and locked in their return to the NPFL.

Both Warri Wolves and Kun Khalifat FC topped their group with six points each.
The four clubs have all punched their tickets to the Nigeria Premier Football League — bringing fresh rivalries and exciting football back to fans across Bauchi, Kano, Imo, and Warri.
