In a move aimed at revamping their season, Wikki Tourists FC has terminated the contract of their head coach, Azeez Audu, effective immediately. 
The decision comes after a thorough review of the team’s performance, which failed to meet the set targets, Footballrover reports.
Despite his contributions, Audu’s inability to meet the club’s expectations led to the mutual consent termination.
This was disclosed in a statement published on the club’s social media page.

“Wikki Tourists FC wishes to inform the public and our esteemed supporters that, after careful consideration and review of our season, the club has decided to terminate the contract of our Technical Adviser (Head Coach), Mr. Azeez Audu, effective and immediately.”

Footballrover understands that the chief coach of the NNL side, Bashir Saleh, is expected to take over as interim head coach while a permanent replacement is sought.
