The newly appointed Enyimba coach, Olanrewaju Yemi, has set his sights on building a team that will dominate the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL).
Coach Yemi enjoyed a shocking 4-1 win over Rivers United in Aba, having taken the helm of the Aba-based team from Finidi George, who was recently appointed as coach of the Super Eagles, Footballrover reports.
Despite the convincing win over Rivers United, the new Elephant boss believes his team still has a long way to go to achieve his ultimate vision.
Yemi’s ambition is to create a team that nobody wants to play against, and he’s determined to make Enyimba serial silverware winners.

Yemi wants to transform the people’s elephant into a formidable team that strikes fear into their opponents, and he aspires to create a playing style so effective that no team will want to face Enyimba.
The coach wants to make Enyimba an unplayable team that will dominate both home and away games.
“When I’m through with the team, teams will find it difficult to cope against us, either home or away; they won’t be able to sustain us,” he declared.
The coach was, however, pleased with the win over Rivers United but disappointed with the conceded goal, which he felt was avoidable.
Yemi’s next challenge is a crucial match with the current NPFL table-toppers, Enugu Rangers, on Sunday at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium.
This battle of the seasons will be a significant test for Enyimba’s championship aspirations.
A win would boost their title chances and provide the momentum Yemi’s team needs to achieve their goals.
