Super Eagles star Victor Osimhen has succeeded in writing his name in history books after helping Napoli secure the Scudetto, creating a new Serie A milestone in the process.
The Nigerian international scored the only goal and equaliser that helped Napoli lift the Serie A title following a tense draw with Udinese, making him only the second Nigerian to win the league title.
Napoli are Serie A champions after 33 years!
On Thursday night, Luciano Spalletti’s Napoli won the Italian championship, continuing the legacy of Diego Maradona, after whom their stadium is now named.
Victor Osimhen, whose shot into the top of the net gave the Partenopei their equalizer, provided the title-winning goal, appropriately, with his boot.
Victor Osimhen and his Napoli colleagues has eventually won the coveted Scudetto, despite yet another lackluster performance.

Victor Osimhen had quite an unforgettable night
Later, Napoli supporters flooded the Dacia Arena field, and the celebration is expected to last for several days.

Napoli may now celebrate their Calcio greatness at home against Fiorentina on Sunday, while Udinese will host Sampdoria the next time around.
Victor Osimhen, who has over 22 league goals and four assists in 27 games for Napoli, will be vying for the golden boot at the end of the season.
