Tyronne Ebuehi amicably ended his contract with Portuguese club Benfica and has signed a three-year deal with Serie A team Empoli.

The footballer, who was born in the Netherlands, played for Venezia FC during the 2021–2022 season while on loan. Venezia FC was relegated as a result of finishing last in the league standings.
He participated in one Copa Italia game and 19 Serie A matches with Venezia.
Additionally, he has played 11 times for the Nigerian Super Eagles, including once at the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia.
Injuries have hampered Ebuehi throughout his professional career, despite the fact that he was expected to be a rising star right back at Benfica B.
The defender began his professional career with ADO Den Haag of the Dutch Eredivise. He has also spent time on loan at FC Twente.
For roughly €2 million in transfer fees, he joins Empoli.
