Chelsea defender – Thiago Silva believes Stamford Bridge would be a fantastic fit for his Brazilian national teammate – Neymar if he were to leave Paris.

Neymar’s future at PSG has been the subject of recent rumors, with the French club apparently willing to let him leave if the right offer materializes.

The 30-year-old wants to stay with the Ligue 1 side to realize his ambition of winning the Champions League there, according to Neymar’s former agent Wagner Ribeiro, who put out a statement last week.

But then, Chelsea defender – Thiago Silva, who spent the 2017–2020 season playing with Neymar at PSG and on the international stage, is eager to see the forward at Stamford Bridge and has asked Neymar to join the Premier League side.

“He has to go to Chelsea. If he is about to leave, then he must go there. If it happens, then the expectation is the best possible one. We don’t even need to talk about Neymar’s ability. Besides that, he is a super friend. I hope this happens instead of only being something on the news, but I don’t know anything about it.” – Silva told Globo about Neymar.

Meanwhile, another Brazilian – Raphinha of Leeds United has recently been linked to Chelsea, but they haven’t made any off-season transfers yet.

Raphinha and his agent Deco have already received an official invitation from Chelsea to talk about personal terms because Boehly needs to act quickly to prevent issues.

The Leeds winger is now the favorite to be signed by Chelsea after the Blues made a contract worth up to £65 million, including add-ons, for him.

The Blues, who were already monitoring the player’s status, have now overtaken their rivals, which previously included Barcelona and Arsenal.

Tuchel wants two wingers, thus Chelsea will also make a new offer to Manchester City for Raheem Sterling should Neymar not be an option.
