Falconets’ rising star, Taiwo Lawal, has wrapped up her year with Atasehir Belediyespor in the Turkish Women’s Super League on a high note.
The 19-year-old Nigerian forward continued to display her prowess by securing a goal and an assist, contributing significantly to her team’s performance in the Turkish women’s league.
Lawal’s impactful last goal of the year came during a remarkable 2-0 victory over Adana Idmanyurduspor women, a game that ignited her team’s first win of the season on matchday 11.
During this game, Milena Costa secured an early lead for Belediyespor just five minutes into the match, Footballrover reports.
Lawal further bolstered their advantage, netting the second goal in the 75th minute, solidifying their triumphant victory.

Lawal’s transition to Atasehir Belediyespor marked her debut as a professional abroad, following her departure from her former club, Robo Queens.
Her time in the Super Lig has seen her make a significant impact, amassing over seven league goals and contributing one assist.
Despite her commendable performances, Taiwo Lawal and her teammates find themselves positioned second from the bottom on the league table, securing just nine points after 14 games, having clinched only two victories alongside three draws.
