Villarreal advanced to their first ever UEFA Champions League semi-final after Samuel Chukwueze came off the bench to score the game-winning goal against Bayern.
Emery’s men have upset the German champions over two games in an extraordinary effort.
Bayern Munich’s single shot on target came from Lewandowski, who scored the game’s first goal, but Chukwueze came off the bench to score the game’s second goal, beating Neuer in the 88th minute.

The away fans were ecstatic, the Villarreal players were on the verge of tears, and Bayern’s players couldn’t believe what they had just witnessed.
After eliminating one of Europe’s top teams, the Yellow Submarine have advanced to the Champions League semi-finals for only the second time in their history.
Villarreal’s Albiol, Parejo, Torres, and Lo Celso were all fantastic, and Emery should get the credit for his gameplan.
For the first time in his career, Emery has advanced beyond the quarter-finals.
