While Iwobi, making his 11th consecutive Premier League campaign appearance, featured from the start but was substituted in the 66th minute after a hard-working display.

The hosts had taken the lead early in the second half when Sander Berge was brought down by Rutter inside the box.

Matt O’Reilly stepped up and sent Bernd Leno the wrong way to hand Brighton the advantage.
