The Portuguese took advantage of Thiago’s magnificent ball over the top and beat Ramsdale at his near post with a precise finish.

Thiago eased passed Cedric and White, to set up Jota and the Brazilian sprints into the inside-left lane before firing a low attempt past the Arsenal goalkeeper.

Liverpool’s super sub – Roberto Firmino then extended their lead with a close-range strike, securing the 3 points and their ninth win in a row in the Premier League.

Firmino finished at the near post to give the visitors a 2-0 lead.

Firmino initiated the action by stealing the ball from Gabriel in the Arsenal box, and Liverpool sustain the attack despite Salah’s first shot being blocked.

It was pushed out to the left flank, where Robertson charged into the box before providing a wonderful low cross that was slotted beyond Ramsdale by the Brazilian.

While Liverpool will play Nottingham Forest in the FA Cup on Sunday.

🎙”Second half, we were a lot more dominant, we were the ones pushing and luckily, we were clinical in front of goal as well.” – Robertson
