Footballrover understands that seven-time Europa League Champions Sevilla have agreed to the deal to sign Nigerian winger Chidera Ejuke on a free transfer.
The 26-year-old Super Eagles forward, Chidera Ejuke, is now set to join Spanish La Liga side Sevilla as a free agent.
According to popular transfer guru Fabrizio Romano, a verbal agreement is in place with Sevilla on contract terms; medicals and signatures are booked for next week.
Ejuke spent the 23/24 season on loan at Royal Antwerp in Belgium, where he scored four goals and provided four assists in 29 appearances in the Belgian Pro League, adding a goal and two assists in other competitions.
Ejuke moved on loan from Russian team CSKA Moscow to Antwerp in July of last year.
After initially struggling in Belgium, Ejuke forced his way into Antwerp’s first-team picture; however, the team has decided to let him go.
With his CSKA Moscow contract set to expire this summer, the Zaria-born star will now gladly join the Spanish giants.
Sevilla, who currently has four more Europa League titles than any other side that has played in the tournament, will be missing out on all European competitions next season after finishing in 14th place with just 41 points.
However, with the signing of the Nigerian pacy winger, they will be hoping to bounce back on course next season.
